Trina has been creating
her original fabric tapestries since 1989.
She specializes in appliquéd landscapes of her favorite places.
After studying painting in art school, she began to experiment with combining her love of painting and her hobby of sewing together into pictorial tapestries. She begins her process with an image she has photographed, then literally cuts hundreds of little pieces of fabric, designing and then sewing the layers together into a cohesive composition that hangs and reads like a painting or a fabric mosaic.
Trina has been showing her work in group shows and one-woman shows since 1991. Her work has been collected and hangs in many private homes and institutions throughout the country.
